A Mexican drug lord’s house was busted and let us just say… everything you would assume about a drug lord’s house is totally true. Actually, any house owned by any drug lord is probably going to look pretty similar to this. The PGR (Mexico’s office of La Procuraduría General de la República) announced a successful drug raid on a Mexico City home and published pictures… and. Wow.
Who know that being a methamphetamine producers could result in something so… awesome? (Aside from the whole “arrest” thing.)
Raids like this one have typical loot, like a gun a with golden Virgin Mary on the handle. There was a matching pair of these found.
Classy violence: .357 Magnum semi-automatics with solid gold grips.
This drug lord had a gun collection bigger than most museum’s.
Just a quaint little villa in the hills – Drug money bought it all!
Man-made cave and hot tub inside the home.
And lots of exotic animals.
There were eight lions on this property. Eight.
And also a rare white tiger.
The back yard pool.
Rare, stolen and illegal art was found throughout the house.
And, of course, more guns.
A cash pile this size is approximately $200 million.
From another angle.
And more guns.
When raiding a drug lord’s house, you learn to look for cash everywhere.
And I mean everywhere.
Walk in closet? Nope. Cash.
Filing cabin… nope, cash.
Apparently selling drugs can be very profitable for these criminals.
They even had stacks of Chinese money
Their personal protection is typically gilded.
If that doesn’t scream “drug money,” I don’t know what does.
The money and valuables found in this one house alone, would be enough to pay for health insurance for every man woman and child in the USA for 12 years!
It is estimated to be approximately 27 more of these houses in Mexico alone. Not to mention the ones in other countries who are enriching themselves in the drug trade.
These people have so much money, they make the Arab oil sheiks look like welfare recipients. Their money can buy politicians, cops, judges, whatever they need they just throw down stacks of cash and it is theirs!
This is why the drug problem is so difficult to fight.
