Thankfully, today’s daily challenges are a bit more interesting than yesterday’s. The Team Oddball game type in Halo 4 War Games matchmaking gets the spotlight in today’s “Baller” challenge. And the multikill challenge — “One, Two, Three, Four…” — can be completed in Oddball or any other game type. Read on to get the details on today’s Halo 4 War Games Daily challenges.
Baller (2750 XP)
“Win 9 matchmaking Oddball matches.”
If you haven’t played Team Oddball before, you’re missing out on a good time. This five-on-five game type gives points for seconds holding a skull-shaped “ball.” Whichever team gets to 300 first wins. Simply win 9 matches to get this challenge.
One, Two, Three, Four… (1500 XP)
“Earn 9 Multikill medals.”
There are eight different multikill medals in Halo 4:
- Double Kill
- Triple Kill
- Overkill
- Killtacular
- Killtrocity
- Killamanjaro
- Killtastrophe
- Killpocalypse
If you earn any combination of these for a total of 9 medals, you get this challenge. You can get these in any matchmaking game type, but as it turns out Team Oddball is a great game type for multikills. Everyone is constantly trying to get to the exact same object on the map, so it is a constant firefight.
Weekly Challenge: Up Close and Personal (6250 XP)
The Team Oddball game type is also useful for the Halo 4 War Games Weekly challenge: Up Close and personal. Again, because everyone is in such close proximity for so much of the game, this is a good game type to earn 12 CQC Medals.
